The MotoCrane Team

Zachary Nelson, CEO

Zach holds the vision that guides MotoCrane. Before founding MotoCrane, he worked as a commercial Director of Photography. Zach ensures MotoCrane is always delivering on our promise.

Lauren McMarlin, Operations Manager

Lauren is the unstoppable force behind MotoCrane's operations. Her degrees in Economics and Statistics bring analytics and data-driven insight into our focus.

Dan Mariette, Product Manager

Dan has a unique blend of filmmaking prowess, automotive enthusiasm, and electronics expertise. If he isn’t assembling motor controllers, he’s probably operating camera for new MotoCrane videos.

Longtua Yang, Shop Assistant

Long is an automotive and technology enthusiast, who uses his skills to assemble MotoCrane products with speed/precision. In addition to his work at MotoCrane, he hopes to pursue a degree in Computer Science and/or Cyber Security.

Dave Clapp, Shop Manager

Dave has a background in Project Management and Diesel Technologies. With this blend of skills he keeps the parts coming in and the units moving out. When he is not tinkering with house projects he is spending time with his pets or working in the garden.

Michael Olson, Mechatronics Engineer

Michael is an electrical engineer who brings design experience from multiple industries and is interested in all things technology and system design. Outside of work he likes driving/fixing cars and making Christmas lights dance to music.

Eric Miklausich, Mechanical Engineer

Eric comes from a background in machine design, automation, and motion control systems. He focuses on elevating MotoCrane’s mechanical designs to reach new levels of strength, durability, and reliability. Erics’s hobbies include working on his CNC router at home, video games, and weight lifting.

Neil Walsh, Embedded Systems Engineer

Neil is a computer engineer focused on firmware development. While not in the office he enjoys fixing and riding bicycles, playing a variety of instruments and tinkering with audio equipment.

Denton Eisenschenk, Electrical Engineer

"Denton is a computer engineer with a passion for embedded systems.  He brings his passion and knowledge to the forefront of technological innovation and electrical advancements at MotoCrane. Outside of work, Denton enjoys working on electronics projects and gaming with friends."

Jason Grunklee, Electrical Engineer

Jason is an electrical engineer with a passion for circuit board design and robotics. They are driven to make industry-changing technology at the highest level. Some of Jason's hobbies include biking, rock climbing, and video games.

Bryan Heard, Operations Specialist

Bryan is an operations professional whose experience strengthens MotoCrane’s internal problem-solving processes. Bryan balances his career and academic studies with determination, consistently pushing forward to achieve success in both areas.

Alex Ristow- Creative Specialist Intern

Alex is a videographer and photographer currently studying Cinema at MCTC. Alongside school, he does freelance work and contributes to creative projects at MotoCrane. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, editing and learning new filmmaking skills, and spending time with friends and family.

Mike Weber, Shop Assistant

Mike's background in management couples with his fascination with science and technology to bring outside-the-box solutions to MotoCrane. Some of his hobbies include wood and clay sculpting, writing music, and playing with his pit bull terrier.

Mason Hansel, Mechanical Engineer

Mason is a mechanical engineer with a background in structural design and utility vehicles. He utilizes his skills to ensure robust designs with excellent ergonomics and aesthetic. Mason’s hobbies include driving and rebuilding his Datsun 280Z, while staying active with hiking and weight lifting in his free time.
