Gyro-stabilization redefined.
Available INS 2 Advanced Stabilization allows RADICAL to maintain Lift axis angle with accuracy that rivals systems 10-20x the cost. This is especially important for off-road applications where the lens needs to “float” over terrain with the subject.
INS 2 combines powerful, precise, low-friction power delivery with high-frequency position sensing for impressive Lift-axis angle holding on extreme terrain.
INS 2 adds a precision 6-axis Inertial Navigation System (INS) sensor on the front section of the boom for accurately reading arm angle.

Using industry standard 1-1/2” TUV Certified speedrail clamps, RADICAL mounts to all kinds of platforms.
The MotoCrane SSG Kit (Speedrail Suction Grid) makes it easy to add industry standard 1-1/2” speedrail to the roof of cars, trucks, SUV’s, supercars, boats, UTV’s and any other platform you can think of.
The SSG Kit includes the essentials of rigging, and can be customized with up to 2 additional 9”suction cups as needed.

Choose between two new COMMAND Console options, both featuring an all-new full color touchscreen user interface for controlling, configuring and monitoring ever aspect of RADICAL. Designed 100% in-house at MotoCrane, and machined from a single billet of 6061 aluminum, both controllers are optimized for intuitive and effective arm operation.
The COMMAND Console LITE (left) is included as standard equipment with MotoCrane RADICAL, and features single joystick control with a compact 5” display. The COMMAND Console PRO (right) is an upgrade option featuring a larger 7” display and dedicated joysticks for lift and swing axis resulting in more precise control.
Payload capacity for compact cinema (and more)
The RADICAL Isolator is a 3-axis iso-elastic suspension arm that includes a Head Adaptor plate for attaching a multitude of payloads.
With a standard payload capacity of 35lbs, MotoCrane RADICAL is tailored for the latest compact stabilized heads/gimbals. The RADICAL Isolator features familiar 3-axis passive dampening for Pitch, Roll and Z-axes, which dual hydraulic dampers for Pitch and Roll axis with an adjustable air shock for Z-axis.
Configure your RADICAL with the HEAVYLIFT Upgrade Kit and increase payload capacity to 45lbs total. Recommended when using larger camera bodies and cinema zooms, especially with the ARRI SRH-3.
The HEAVYLIFT Upgrade Kit reinforces RADICAL with removeable aluminum braces for increasing end-to-end lateral stiffness of the Boom sections.

48V brushless motors are mated to proprietary drive mechanisms for minimizing power loss, and maximizing arm responsiveness on both axes. A machined central housing contains a large-diameter cross roller bearing for high torsional rigidity and stiffness while overall mass is minimized. All of this in an IP65-rated module weighing less than 45lbs.
Compact power delivery.
The RADICAL PSU (Power Supply Unit) features a single interface panel for connecting all hard-wired modules, with integrated breakers for protection against short-circuits and reverse polarity.
New to the RADICAL PSU is ACC PWR and ACC COM, making it simple to provide both power and/or data through the RADICAL slipring for camera, gimbal, video accessories while being able to Swing 360° infinitely without a tangle of cables.
